HOA Board Vice President
LynAnn Ellsworth moved with her husband, Lansing, and four children to Cedar City in 1999. Previously, she had lived in many western states: Arizona, Texas, Washington, and California. They were drawn to the Cedar Highlands vistas and built a log cabin there in 2004; for them, it was a dream come true. A secondary education teacher by profession, LynAnn taught at SUU for a few years. Additionally, she has served on a variety of community boards including the Iron County School Board and the Cedar City Hospital Governing Board. In 2008 a plane crash took the lives of 10 Cedar City residents including LynAnn’s husband, and their oldest son, Dallin. It was devastating personally; the loss was also felt throughout much of southern Utah. The following year she fell in love with and married Mark Imlay, whose wife, Valerie, had perished in the same plane accident. Within a few years Mark built them a house in New Harmony, Utah. In addition to LynAnn and Mark’s seven children, their family now includes 18 grandchildren, a dog, two cats, a few cows and some chickens. LynAnn feels it is her “turn” to serve on the Cedar Highlands HOA Board and is enjoying this opportunity to get to know and serve the great people invested there.
