HOA Board Secretary/Treasurer
My name is Regina Elizabeth Abels Tashjian, but most people simply call me Reggie. I was born in Queens, NY. My dad had 11 siblings and my mom had 3. Growing up in New York with 3 older brothers and a huge family, I had to be tough in order to survive. After moving to Las Vegas in 1974, I grew to love southern Utah, from spending many weekends each month enjoying hiking, snow skiing and the beautiful outdoors. My husband, Sam, with whom I have spent the past 38 years, & I decided to build a vacation home in Cedar Highlands in 2004, after selling our condo in Brianhead. The first time we saw Cedar Highlands, we immediately fell in love with its natural beauty, abundant wildlife and open spaces. Our log home was completed in 2006. We love to hike and snowshoe and enjoy every season of the year. Sam and I retired in 2014 and are now full time residents. During my 37 year career as a liability claim adjuster specializing in litigation management, I represented the interests of Allstate Insurance, American Family Insurance, 3 major law firms, was the Liability Claim Manager at The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino, and worked for a third party administrator as Litigation Consultant for my sole client, Caesars Entertainment, managing litigation for their west coast properties. In my “spare time” I was bookkeeper for Sam’s successful automotive business. Following the HOA Board election in 2015, I was alarmed and concerned about the direction our peaceful mountain community was heading and decided it was time to step to the plate and become actively involved. I am very appreciative that HOA members elected me in 2018 to the HOA Board. With my experience as both a part-time and full time resident, any actions are always taken with the best interests of ALL HOA members. I take this responsibility very seriously and hope that I have earned the members trust.
