I was raised in a military family. I have lived in England, Spain, Florida, California, and Illinois.
After my freshman year in high school, my family settled in Fallbrook, California. I graduated from Fallbrook High School, Palomar Jr. College, and attended San Diego State University.
I left the university and started a law enforcement career with the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department in Colorado, then the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in California, and I settled down at Carlsbad Police Department in San Diego County.
I retired in 2012 at age 55 after serving in law enforcement for 32 years. During that time, I gained expertise in accident investigations, as I was twice assigned to the Traffic Division as a motorcycle traffic officer. I also gained expertise in financial crimes as I served 8 years as a Complex Financial Crimes Investigator.
Upon retirement, we moved from Valley Center, California to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. After six years in Arizona, we relocated to Cedar Highlands in July, 2018.
Since moving to Cedar Highlands, I have been very involved in the political activities of the community and volunteering for community work days.
Jeanne and I have three children, two grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. Our oldest son lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our second son lives in Fallbrook, California, and our daughter lives in Orange County California.
Our hobbies are hiking, mountain biking, and motorcycling. We enjoy the four seasons of Cedar Highlands and the beauty of the area.
